The hike takes you through 300 million years of the earth’s history, tells how today’s landscape came to be, gives insight to the subsurface structure of the circumjacent mountain ranges and explains how man influences the landscape. This is an all day hike with a good 5 hours of walking. It is 16 km long with an altitude of 1,000 meters. It is suitable for adults and children with standard hiking gear.
