This hike provides insight into the mining industry in the region and relays information about the life, and the conditions of the miners in the middle ages, as well as the cultural landscape and the mountains in the region. The length of the tour is about 2.5 hours and 7.9 km long with an altitude difference of about 100 meters. It is suitable for families with standard hiking gear.   »

LITZ Walkabout

Litz River Walkabout in the community of Schruns. Start: Schruns Railway Station in the direction of Silbertal (200m), over the Litz River Bridge towards Bartholomaeberg (300m), take the path to Kaltenbrunnen, along the Ill and back to the centre of Schruns.  »

Aqua-Hiking Trail

Welcome to the Aqua Hiking Trail! We suggest starting your hike at the Gemeindepark just above the municipal offices. There is a turbine wheel, a fountain and a paddling pool in the park. There is a bus stop next to the fountain where you can catch the bus to the Latschau reservoir. From there you can see the Luener Lake and the Latschau power plants as well as the Latschau reservoir.  »

The Landscape path between Gaschurn, Partenen and Galtür offers a look at the area between Innerfratte and Paznaun. There are impressive views that have become the scene of historical facts. Striking modern developments show the potential for conflicts between various interest groups. Hiking Trail Gaschurn

The Gaschurn village cultural history hiking trail is a circular route for the whole family. The length of the route is about 30 minutes. The points of interest on the route are St. Michael’s parish church, the dance arbour, the Lukas-Tschofen parlour, the tourism museum and the Maria Schnee chapel.   »

Geology Hiking Trail

The hike takes you through 300 million years of the earth’s history, tells how today’s landscape came to be, gives insight to the subsurface structure of the circumjacent mountain ranges and explains how man influences the landscape. This is an all day hike with a good 5 hours of walking. It is 16 km long with an altitude of 1,000 meters. It is suitable for adults and children with standard hiking gear.   »

The Vandans Legend Trail leads you from the center of the town past 14 stations that are closely connected to local culture and the world of legends. On the trail you will see impressive man-made monuments as well as fascinating natural scenic attractions.  »
